We ship to all states in the United States and internationally. However, each state and country has its own regulations regarding the shipment of beer, wine, or alcohol. It’s important to be aware that your location may have laws that restrict or ban such shipments. As a responsible licensee, we adhere to the laws of each jurisdiction and respect these legal requirements. You can always purchase or special order our products through our online store.

Delivery Requirements

Customers must provide a valid address, including a phone number, where someone 21+ can sign for the package. If you miss the first delivery attempt, please call the number on the missed delivery notice to schedule a new delivery time.

Shipping Costs

To address customer concerns, please note the following:

  • Shipping companies apply multiple surcharges to our shipments – one for alcohol and another for the adult signature required. These surcharges are in addition to the standard shipping rates.
  • The weight of liquid adds to the shipping cost.
  • As a small business, we cannot cover shipping costs in all instances. However, we occasionally offer internet specials for customers who spend above a certain amount to help offset shipping costs.
  • We do not add a profit-generating markup to your shipping charge; we charge what the shipping company charges us.
  • Shipping costs for 2 or more bottles are nearly the same as for 1 bottle, so consider buying multiple bottles to make your shipping charges more cost-effective.
  • Ask for a shipping coupon at checkout to help with shipping costs.

Important Shipping Information

  • You must be at least 21 years old to order, and a signature from someone 21+ is required upon delivery.
  • Customers are responsible for complying with their local and state laws regarding alcohol shipments.
  • Orders placed Monday through Friday will be shipped within 2 to 7 business days.
  • Orders placed after business hours on Friday, or on Saturday or Sunday, will be shipped within 3 to 7 business days from the following Monday.
  • No deliveries are made on Saturday or Sunday unless specially arranged.
  • A tracking link for your order will be provided, becoming active within 48 hours of dispatch, allowing you to follow your order’s progress.
  • Overseas deliveries require a lead time of 7-21 working days, depending on the destination country and address. If you have not received your goods within 21 days, please contact us immediately.
  • Standard service is not insured, but packages over $100 can be insured at extra cost. Please contact us for a quotation.
  • A legal adult must be present at the delivery address to sign for the goods. Goods are dispatched by a third-party courier, and their terms and conditions apply.
  • We will have paid the full Excise Duty on all goods shipped internationally. Customers are responsible for any local customs, import duties, and taxes. Customers warrant that there are no import restrictions on our goods and that all such goods are being legally imported, tax and duty paid.
  • We will complete a customs declaration form, declaring “Specialist Malt Whisky, No Commercial Value” and stating the replacement value, where appropriate.
  • Damaged whisky products will be fully replaced at no cost to the customer.

What is the difference between shipping and same-day delivery?

Shipping uses various delivery agencies to deliver liquor and accessories to states and countries where legal. Same-day delivery service delivers whiskey, wine, and spirits to customers within selected time slots using third-party delivery services.

Who is your shipping partner?

We partner with delivery agencies like Bolt, FedEx, USPS, and DHL to ship liquor, wine and accessories where legal.

How much does it cost to get items shipped?

Shipping rates are based on the weight of the contents and the selected service. The rate will be reflected in your shopping cart and updated as items are added or removed.

How do I qualify for free shipping?

Orders over $700 automatically qualify for free shipping.

Can I request contactless shipping?

Yes, leave a note at the checkout page and we will discuss.

Are there restrictions on how much I can have shipped to me?

Certain states have restrictions. If your order exceeds these limits, we will contact you to reduce your order to comply with state regulations.

What are the different shipping methods?

We offer Overnight, 2-Day Air, and Ground shipping. Ground shipping typically delivers in one to two business days. Overnight and 2-Day Air deliver Monday-Friday only. Ground service includes delivery through Saturday.

When will my order ship?

Orders received before 3 p.m. local time are processed and shipped the same business day. Orders placed after 3 p.m. local time will ship the following business day. Orders placed after 3 p.m. on Friday will ship the following Monday.

Can you ship products from one store to another?

Will my delivery be safe during extreme weather conditions?

We may hold shipments during extremely hot weather to protect the quality of items. If this occurs, we will notify you by email and post a message to inform shoppers of potential delays.

Can I ship items to multiple addresses?

To ship items to multiple addresses, place separate orders for each destination.

What if I’m not home when my order arrives?

Our delivery partners will check the receiver’s ID to ensure they are 21 or older and require a signature for the order. If you are not home, two additional delivery attempts will be made before holding the order at the shipper’s distribution center.

Can someone else receive my order?

Yes, anyone over the age of 21 at the delivery address can receive the order.

My order has not arrived. How can I track it?

Buying and Shipping Alcoholic Beverages

When you purchase alcoholic beverages from us, you are confirming that you comply with all state and local laws regarding the purchase, transportation, and delivery of wine and spirits. You affirm that you are legally entitled to receive these beverages and have obtained any necessary permissions, paid applicable fees or sales taxes in your state, and are working through properly licensed intermediaries if required.

Shipping Details

We offer liquor delivery to both residential and business addresses. Many customers prefer business addresses to ensure they do not miss a delivery, as all alcohol shipments require an adult signature upon delivery. This is a legal requirement with no exceptions.

The courier and delivery times vary depending on the destination state. 

Each shipment is considered one box and can contain up to 12 bottles. If your order exceeds 12 bottles, additional shipments will be arranged, with each additional shipment incurring separate charges. Multi-box shipments can be dispatched but may be staggered over a few days.

Fees and Restrictions

Your shipping fees include all applicable taxes and FDA fees but do not cover customs charges. These charges will be included in your custom quote. Additional restrictions may apply to certain locations, and you will be advised of any such restrictions in advance.
